Alechenu, a 14-year-old autistic boy, embarks on a solo journey from Fiditi, Oyo State, to Lagos in search of the mother he has never met, armed only with a photo and birth certificate.
Struggling to survive in the city, he crosses paths with Jidenna and Anna Ifezue, a couple living in an estate plagued by robberies. After Jidenna rescues him from a mob and offers him shelter, tensions rise with Anna until she discovers the old photo Alechenu carries is of her.
This revelation forces Anna to confront buried traumas from her past, uncovering a long-hidden truth as Alechenu finally fulfills his quest.
